Denise D. Solomon is from Buffalo, NY by way of Detroit, Michigan. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in social Work from Niagara University in Niagara University, NY in 2001. She relocated to the greater Tampa Bay area in 2007 and has earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Troy University in Tampa, FL in 2012. Denise D. Solomon is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and practices mental health counseling in person and via telemental health within the State of Florida. She is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). Denise Solomon, has worked closely with children and adults for years conducting individual, group, couples and family therapy sessions. Throughout her career she has worked in community mental health, the foster care and adoption sector, as a school counselor, a medical social worker for hospice and currently in private practice. Denise is the proud owner and founder of Grow, Empower, Transform Therapy, LLC. She specializes in trauma, depression and anxiety that stems from being in an abusive relationship. Denise assists her clients with healing from traumatic experiences that leads to depression and anxiety. Denise has a group specifically for Black Women entitled Heal, Empower, Release (H.E.R.).
